Thanks for landing on my page. If we haven’t met before, I am a writer and mother of a bookstore which I founded with a gaggle/a parliament/an exaltation of other women. Visit Lark & Owl Booksellers HERE.

But this page is about my writing. I am currently seeking a literary agent, so if you know anyone in that business who is looking for Women’s Fiction that is smart/funny/bittersweet—I’d be ever so grateful if you’d pass along my info!

A little bit about me…

When I’m not working at Lark & Owl Booksellers, I spend time with my husband, our three almost-adult charming daughters, a Great Pyrenees/St. Bernard mix who weighs more than your average teenager and may be a handsome prince trapped in a dog’s body, a marmalade cat and a small dog we suspect ran away from the circus, but seems to reside happily with us. I’ve served on several regional and statewide arts advocacy boards and I lend support for arts funding wherever I can. I currently serve on a community board whose mission is to educate and encourage businesses to pay livable wages.

My favorite books are Tiny Beautiful Things by Cheryl Strayed, Anxious People by Fredrik Backman, Winter Solstice by Rosamunde Pilcher, Because of Winn-Dixie by Kate DiCamillo (I think this book is nearly perfect), This is How by Augusten Burroughs, anything by Anne Lamott, Glennon Doyle, Brenè Brown, Katherine Center, Diana Gabaldon, or Marisa de los Santos. I love books that make me think, laugh or swoon—or all three!
